The Sri Muthukumaran Educational Trust is a Public Charitable and Educational Trust, established in the year 1984 for the purpose of promoting education and it has no profit motive. The members of the Trust function with great zeal, with the only aim to spread education.

Sri Muthukumaran Arts and Science College has established in the year 2001 by SriMuthukumaranEducationalTrust.Undertheableguidanceof Thiru.A.N.Radhakrishnan, Managing Trustee. The College is a Private Self-Financed Arts and Science College approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the University of Madras.
